On March 10th, we launched the pre-order for the new and improved See Me Cane 1R. This latest version builds on the success of our original 2023 model, incorporating the features you requested to enhance durability, usability, and functionality.

Pre-Order and Pricing

• Pre-order Deadline: The pre-order period ends on July 31st.

• Early Discount: The first 100 pre-orders will receive $75 off their See Me Cane 1R. If the discount is applied at checkout, you are among the first 100 customers.

• Pricing: The See Me Cane 1R is available at a discounted rate for early pre-orders.

• Payment Plans: Shopify payment plans are available for customers who wish to pay in installments.

• Cancellation & Refund Policy: You may cancel your order at any time, and a full refund will be provided.

What’s New with the See Me Cane 1R?

• Longer Battery Life:

  • Full brightness: Lasts 2 hours

  • Default brightness: Lasts 4 hours

  • Pulse mode: Lasts 8-10 hours

• Removable Handle:

  • Screws off the shaft for easy replacement and storage.

  • To reattach, align it with the shaft, press down, and screw it on. To test if it's fully connected, turn the cane on and feel for vibrations.

  • Additional handles may be available for purchase after pre-orders are shipped.

• Adjustable Brightness & Pulse Mode:

  • Default brightness: 110 lumens

  • Higher brightness: 220 lumens (press the round button once)

  • Pulse mode: Press the round button three times quickly to activate. This mode cycles brightness smoothly over 3 seconds, making the cane more visible while being safe for those with low vision or seizure sensitivities.

• Battery Level Indicator:

  • When turning the cane on, it vibrates to indicate battery level:

    • 5 vibrations: 100% battery

    • 4 vibrations: 75% battery

    • 3 vibrations: 50% battery

    • 2 vibrations: 25% battery

    • 1 vibration: 5% battery (critical level)

  • A long vibration follows if the light is turned on.

• Durability Improvements:

  • The See Me Cane 1R features a molded handle and PCB board, replacing the 3D-printed handle and wired connections of the previous version, significantly improving durability.

• Cane Tip Compatibility:

  • Compatible with Amutech threaded 8mm tips, making it easy to replace worn-out tips.

Shipping and Manufacturing

• Manufacturing: The See Me Cane 1R is proudly manufactured and shipped by visually impaired individuals.

• Estimated Shipping Date: We aim to ship pre-orders in October, just in time for White Cane Awareness Day.
